To our Freezin’ for a Reason community,
We know that both our athletes and our community want to be racing; we do too!
While our mission is to provide exceptional, life-changing race experiences for athletes of all levels, from their first step to the finish line, we can only accomplish this by providing the safest possible environment, and safeguarding the citizens of our community.
COVID-19 has substantially altered the global sports landscape and will have material impact on the mass participation industry in the immediate term. We expect that there are going to be substantial and widespread event postponements in the coming weeks and months.
Sadly, with the spread of COVID-19 and the efforts to stop its spread, the 2021 Freezin’ for a Reason 5K/10K has been cancelled. Cancelling this event is incredibly disappointing for everyone involved, but in order for us to continue to prioritize the health and safety of everyone involved, it was clearly the course we needed to follow. In what has been a continually evolving and challenging time globally, we recognize that this may come as a disappointment but look forward to providing the community with exceptional events in the future and look forward to seeing everyone in 2022.
We hope that you stay safe and healthy as our world faces this most difficult challenge.
